How long does the installation take?
The installation time can vary depending on your selected unit and its compatibility with your existing system. However, most installations are completed within 4-8 hours by our expert technicians.

What is the “Spine Fin™ Coil” and why is it better than a standard radiator-style coil?
The Spine Fin Coil is Trane’s outdoor coil design. Traditional coils are flat and have radiator-style fins. These fin coils have thousands of tiny, hair-like aluminum spines on the tubing. It’s a superior choice because it has more surface area, durability, and a longer lifespan. Dirt and debris don’t easily clog it either, so you don’t need any fin combing.
Can I use my old R-410A indoor unit with these new R-454B condensers?
It’s not recommended. Using an old R-410A unit with a new R-454B will have reduced efficiency, poor oil return, higher failure risk, and voided manufacturer warranty.
Why is Trane using R-454B, and will it be expensive to refill?
Trane uses R-454B because it is a next-generation, environmentally responsible refrigerant that meets current and future EPA regulations.
